Tavan Yearbook Cover Contest

Do you want to see your artwork on the cover of our next yearbook? Here’s your chance!

The Yearbook Cover Contest is open to all Tavan Elementary students. Now is the time to show off your creativity and Wildcat pride!

 

Official Rules

  • Who Can Enter: All students currently enrolled at Tavan Elementary School (every grade)

  • Original Artwork Only: Your design must be your own creation. No traced, copied, or online images.

  • Theme: One Team, One Tavan, Everyone Belongs.

  • Your artwork should include:

    • Our school's name: Tavan Elementary School

    • The 2025–2026 school year

    • Your full name, grade, and teacher in pencil on the BACK of your artwork.

    • Our Wildcat spirit!

  • Design Tools: You may use markers, pencils, crayons, or paint.

  • Colors: Use bright, bold colors so the artwork pops and prints well.

  • Size: Must fit within 7.5 x 10 inches.

  • Only one entry per student is allowed.

 

A blank Cover Contest Form will be sent home after fall break with each student to submit their artwork on. But if your student wants to start now, please print the cover contest form below and be sure to use the Actual Size when printing.

Submission Deadline: Entries are due by Friday, January 9th

Voting Day

Here’s how voting will work this year:

  • The Top 3 finalist designs will be chosen by the Yearbook Committee.

  • On Voting Day, the designs will be displayed during the morning announcements so all students can see them.

  • In each classroom, teachers will count student votes and record the totals using an online Google Form. If needed, teachers may have students vote with heads down/hands up to keep votes private and feelings protected. 

  • Every classroom’s vote will be added together to select the official cover winner!

Winner’s Prize

The 1st Place Winner will receive:

  • One FREE 25-26' Tavan Yearbook

  • Your artwork on the yearbook cover

  • Digital feature on the PTO website & social media

  • Special recognition in the school's morning announcements
