How to get on campus and get involved

Visitors
Sign in at the front office, provide a valid ID, and wear a visitor sticker at all times on campus. Sign out before leaving. Student visitors are not permitted.
Volunteer Application
Complete the SUSD Volunteer/Chaperone Application — valid for three years and includes a background check. Apply online here →

5th Grade Outdoor Ed chaperones also need a fingerprint clearance card. Plan ahead — this is a timely process! Note: obtaining your fingerprint card does not guarantee involvement in the Outdoor Ed trip.

Late Arrival
Students arriving after the first bell at 8:40 AM must report to the front office for a Late Pass.

Early Pickup
Parents/guardians must check students out from the front office with a valid ID before 2:30 PM (12:30 PM on early release days).

Absent or Tardy
Call the attendance line at (480) 484-3500, Option 1 before the school day begins and leave a message with: your full name and relationship to the student, the student's full name and ID number, and the date and reason for absence.
