Lunchtime at Tavan

Each grade enjoys 20 minutes of lunch time to fuel up, followed by 20 minutes of recess to get active, connect with friends and recharge for the rest of the day. Please make sure your child comes prepared with everything they need for a healthy meal and safe playtime!

How does my child navigate the cafeteria?

Teachers will guide their class to the cafeteria during their scheduled lunchtime where Tavan's friendly staff are always present to help your child if they need assistance. If your student brings a lunchbox, they will find their class table to sit and eat while the other students navigate the lunch line.

How do they pay for lunch?

Each student is issued a school ID badge that must be worn every day at school. This badge is linked to their meal account in LINQ Connect and is scanned in the lunch line after they choose their food items.  Manage meal payments with ease at LinqConnect.com or download the free LINQ Connect app to keep lunch money stress-free and make one-time or set up recurring payments.
