Volunteer with the Tavan PTO!

 Looking for a fun and meaningful way to get involved at Tavan? We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities with no experience or commitment required! Just a willingness to help and be part of our amazing school community. Whether you love to organize, pitch in, or simply show up with a smile, there’s a spot for you! Volunteering is a great way to stay connected, meet other families, and make a real impact even if you only have an hour to give.

 

No pressure: You’ll simply receive updates about the areas you’re interested in, and you can jump in whenever it works for your schedule!

Bonus: Many roles allow you to bring your child along! It’s a fun way for students to see their parents involved and build a sense of pride and community.

Sweetheart Dance Co-Chairs
Help plan a fun and memorable Sweetheart Dance for our students and their special guests! Co-Chairs will work together to coordinate decorations, activities, food, volunteers, and event-day setup.

Help bring some fun to our staff! We’re looking for a volunteer to plan and organize a simple, engaging staff game or activity once each quarter, including prizes when needed (PTO will pay for supplies).

Kinder RoundUp Coordinator
Help us give prospective Tavan families a warm Wildcat welcome! The Coordinator will help plan and set up our 3 Kindergarten Round Ups, including snacks, drinks, decorations, and Tavan swag for incoming students. Dates: • Nov. 4 @ 9:00 AM • Jan. 27 @ 4:30 PM • March 3 @ 9:00 AM

5th Grade Holiday Shop Coordinator(s)
The Tavan Holiday Shop gives students the fun opportunity to shop on their own for gifts for family and loved ones! We’re looking for 5th Grade parents to help plan the shop, purchase inventory, set up, and coordinate volunteers. All funds raised benefit the 5th Grade Class and help offset the cost of Outdoor Ed in May!

This team plays a critical role in supporting the school’s volunteer efforts by ensuring school-wide events, campus projects and programs run smoothly with adequate help. Whether you have 1 hour or 10, we’ll find a great fit for you! This is a great fit for parents who are looking for a variety of ways to get involved based on their availability and skills. There’s no ongoing commitment, just opportunities to pitch in when your schedule allows.
